Bajina Bašta is a town settlement and seat of the municipality of the same name on the right bank of the Drina River, in the Zlatibor District in western Serbia. Bajina Bašta is located under the slopes of Mount Tara, at an altitude of 257 m. The average annual rainfall is 700-800 mm. The climate is moderately continental, with increased air humidity after the construction of artificial lakes in Perućac and Zaovine. The city is connected by asphalt roads via the Debelo Brdo pass (1090 m) with Valjevo, the Drina valley with Ljubovia and Šabac, and via the Kadinjača pass (880 m) with Uzice.
