Surdulica is a town settlement in Serbia in the municipality of Surdulica in Pčinjsko district. It borders the municipality of Crna Trava to the north, the municipality of Vladičin Han to the west, the municipality of Vranje to the south and the Republic of Bulgaria to the east. Surdulica dates back to 1530. Turks lived there until 1888. It is located at an altitude of 475 meters. It is located in a valley surrounded by mountains: Čemernik, Vardenik and Kukavica. The road that winds between the mountains of Čemernik and Vardenik reaches Vlasin Lake, which is at an altitude of 1,230 meters. Two rivers flow through Surdulica, Vrla and Romanovska reka.
