Zubin Potok - located in the northwestern region of Kosovo and Metohija, this town is also the center of the municipality of the same name. Atar of Zubin Potok is located on the territory of the cadastral municipality of the same name, which is 2063ha. As the center of Ibarski Kolašin, the town is located to the east of the Zubodolski Potok in the Radičponjska basin and is surrounded by the hills of Gradina (730m), Ješa (693m) and Gutin Breg. Above the Zubin Potok is a hill on which Gradina is located, which was probably once a parish town in the Middle Ages. Since the country was freed from Turkish rule, Zubin Potok was part of the Zvečan district and by 1912 it had 108 inhabitants. Between 1952 and 1955, it was the seat of a small area of the same name that was part of the Zvečan district for numerous small settlements such as Gazivode, Velji Breg, Donji Jasenovik, Dobroševina, Zubin Potok, Zagulje, Kobbinja Glava, Jabuka, Padine, Mala Kaludra, Pridvorica, Prevlak, Ugljare, Čitluk, Crepulja and Štuoce. When this small municipality was abolished and merged with the neighboring one, one complete and larger municipality named Zubin Potok was created. Later, in 1965, Potok inhabited by Zubi fell under the municipality of Kosovska Mitrovica.
