Suva Reka - located in the central area of Kosovo and Metohija, this city is also the center of the municipality of the same name. Suva Reka was mentioned as a settlement for the first time in writing in 1465. The town is located halfway from Shtimlje to Prizren, on the main road Pristina-Prizren. 1689. , Giacomo Canelli di Vignola writes Suva Reka on his copperplate map and it is still kept in the Paris National Library. In the 1980s, the Russian consul found nine homes of Serbian Roma in Suva Reka. Once there was a Serbian Orthodox church with a cemetery here, but it was demolished over time. There are also reports that there was a hermitage on a hill below the village where, judging by the record from 1880, some holy relics were kept surrounded by monastic cells, however, the details were lost over time as the Turks turned the hermitage into a tekke. Around 1938, the construction of the new church of St. Apostles Peter and Paul, with a cupola and bell tower. Among other cultural and historical monuments, around and near the city, there is also the church of St. Đorđe, built in 1370 by an unknown Serbian duke in the village of Rečani, and the church of the Virgin Odigitria, built in 1315 by Milutin's cauldron Dragoslav in Mušutište.
