at Zlatar
Zlatar is a mountain in the southwestern part of Serbia. It is located between the rivers Lim, Uvac, Mileševka and Bistrica. Zlatar belongs to the Dinaric Mountains, which continue to the sea. The highest peak is Golo Brdo at 1,627 meters above sea level. Zlatar is a mountain with a moderate climate, at the junction of the Mediterranean and mountain climates. Mountain Zlatar, due to its morphology, climate and plant cover, i.e. authentic nature, is classified as an important tourist region, where sports-recreational, excursion, health-healing, hunting, congress, excursion and rural tourism can be developed. Not far from Zlatar mountain, you can visit the canyon of the Uvac river, the habitat of the white pine and the relict bird species in the Balkans - the griffon vulture. This natural reserve, as an ecological area, attracts the attention of tourists due to the interesting landscape, clear water rich in fish and the possibility of rafting and photo-tourism. The river Lim and the three artificial lakes Zlatarsko, Sjeničko and Radoinjsko, are rich in precious species of fish and suitable for fishing and boating. Nearby are the Mileševa Monastery (13th century), the Davidovica Monastery (12th century) in the town of Brodarevo, the Banja Monastery (12th century) in Priboj, the log cabin churches in Kučani and Radijevići, which complete the tourist offer of Zlatar Mountain. Zlatibor is a mountain in Serbia that covers an area of about 1000 km², is 30 km long and up to 15 km wide. It stretches in a northwest-southeast direction.
