SPECIAL HOSPITAL FOR PULMONARY DISEASES SURDULICA

In the specialized health care in the municipality is located Surdulica Hospital for TB and other nonspecific lung diseases. The hospital was built in 1924. vol. for the rehabilitation of patients in the Balkan and First World War. The choice of location was caused by exceptionally favorable climatic characteristics of the area over the entire territory of Serbia. Except for the hospital in Soko Banja, this Surdulicki hospital complex is the only complex of these specific purposes in Serbia.
