Štrpce - the center of the municipality of the same name, Štrpce is located in the south of Kosovo and Metohija and thus belongs to the Kosovo Administrative District. Together with Sevac, Brezovica, Vrbeštica , Jažinac, Berevac and ten other villages, Štrpce makes up the Sirinić parish. This municipality was abolished for a time in 1965, but was re-established in 1988. When it comes to historically significant landmarks, Štrpac is home to the Church of St. Nicholas, which was built between 1976-1977. year. Today, this building is protected by law as a cultural monument of exceptional importance and belongs to the monumental ensemble of the Church of Sirinići župa. Among other features, it is worth mentioning the Lepenac river that flows through this town, as well as the Brezovica ski center located here. A part of the territory of this municipality is also part of the Šar Planina National Park, which is one of 5 such parks in Serbia.
