Osečina municipality is one of the municipalities in the Republic of Serbia. It is located in central Serbia and belongs to the Kolubar district. The municipality covers an area of 319 km² (of which 21,100 ha are agricultural and 9,151 ha are forest). The municipality of Osečina covers more than 300 km2 of the Jadar river basin, which passes through the municipality in a length of over 20 km. The seat of the municipality is the village of Osečina, which has about 3,000 inhabitants. The municipality of Osečina consists of 20 settlements and has about 13,000 inhabitants.
