Lebane is a town settlement in Serbia in the municipality of Lebane in the Jablanički district. The city center is at an altitude of 275.2 m above sea level, which is also the lowest point in the city, while the highest point (the top of the Čukljenik hill) lies at an altitude of 432 m. With its area of 337 km², Lebane belongs to the medium-sized municipalities. The town is located at the confluence of the Šumanka (Shuman river) in Jablanica, which in its further course passes through the Leskovac field and is known as the largest dry area in Serbia (it dries up in the summer and winter months). Lebane is located on the main road Leskovac - Priština, 21 km southwest of Leskovac, which is the center of the Jablanica district. Nearly 10,000 inhabitants live in the settlement of Lebane, while the entire municipality of Lebane has 18,268 inhabitants according to the last census of 2022. .
