Jošanička Spa is located on the slopes of Kopaonik (24 km), in the valley of the river Jošanica and its tributary Samokovka. It lies at an altitude of 550 m and has the characteristics of a climatic health resort. Jošanička spa and its surroundings are rich in greenery and forests dominated by the "Banjski borjak" (black pine on an area of about 29 ha), which represents part of a special natural value, especially for health and recreational needs. The spa complex has an area of 1.2 ha with the function of passive recreation. There are well-maintained hiking trails for the recreation needs of residents and guests of the Jošanička Spa. Jošanička Spa is one of the balneological resorts with the warmest water in Europe, which together with the climate, proximity to the beautiful landscapes of Kopaonik and Golija, as well as good traffic infrastructure, enables it to be an important tourist destination in this area.
