ISTOK - located in the western region of Kosovo and Metohija, this city is also the center of the municipality of the same name. Istok is located near Mokra Gora at 488m above sea level. Istok belonged to the Kingdom of Montenegro from 1912, when both areas were freed from Turkish occupation, until 1918, when it was united with the Kingdom of Serbia.
