Apatin is a city and seat of the municipality of the same name in Bačka, Vojvodina, Serbia. Administratively, it belongs to Zapadnobački district. It is located on the left bank of the Danube, which represents the natural border with Croatia. To the north is Sombor, and to the south is Odzaci. Apatin, one of the most beautiful towns in Vojvodina, is located in the northwestern part of the extensive Bačka plains, on the left bank of the Danube.
